Feature & Follow (10)

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.
trans Feature & Follow #112
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

Q: Best Cover? What is the best cover of a book that you’ve read and didn’t like?

A: The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova

I love the cover of this book, but I found it very tedious to get through.

  1. The title alone is a little foreboding LOL

  3. I'd be intimidated by the title too! And the subtitle: "To you, perceptive reader, I bequeath my history" would probably scare me away!

  4. This was a challenging read. Not the cover I had either, but I did like it even if I didn't love it!

  5. I had a different cover, and while it took me a while to get through, I liked it ~ not something I would reread though... *new follower*

  6. Oh. Oh my. Yes, a pretty cover, but that seems really, really scary to read through. In the tedious sense.

  11. Ok, so with three days til school starts I have made it to the blog. Hooray me! This book is what they call over here a 'holiday' read. You take it to the beach and sit there for two weeks reading in the deck chair in the day and drinking sangria in the evening. a no brainer! i read it on holiday, so yes, i enjoyed it.
