Feature & Follow Friday (31): Mardi Gras

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers -- but you have to know -- the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools -- keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to Wordpress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don't have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.

Question: Happy Mardi Grad! If they were throwing the HOTTEST books off of a Mardi Gras float - what would you do to have them throw to you?
Answer: Absolutely nothing!! I have too much respect for myself to do something silly just to get something, even if it is a great book. Plus I'm not a huge fan of New Orleans or Mardi Gras. I guess I'm turning into a fuddy-duddy in my old age. : )

  1. Theres in fun in that. Lol. U would at least scream right?

  2. Haha, I totally get your point! They'll come out eventually and you can get your hands on them then! Great answer :)

    Here's my FF!

  3. I get it too, and I definitely wouldn't do anything indecent, but maybe silly...just to have a story to tell. :D My FFs are at LKHill or Musings on Fantasia. Happy Friday!

  4. I totally feel the same way. Never been to one anyway! Have a happy Friday :)
New follower via GFC, here's my FF

  5. Unfortunately, I also lack the wildness to flash for books. Happy Friday!

  6. Whelp, I'm not too much a fan of NOLA either. And fuddy duddies unite!

  7. Yeah I wouldn't "do" anything either. But if I stood there and still got books, then yeah still take them!

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    Old Follower :)

  8. I would actually love to go to New Orleans once just to see it all! And Mardi Gras sounds fun and a little outrageous :)

I'm an old follower stopping by.

Here's my my FF post for this week.

    Have a fantastic Friday!

  9. I completely understand. I wouldn't do anything too crazy or out there just to obtain a book.

  10. Well, I understand. To each his/her own, right? :)

New follower via GFC and Networked blogs!

Here's our FF + super fun giveaway of Rachel Hartman's Seraphina!

  11. Good answer.

  12. I'm too old for Mardi Gras, but I did want to go when I was younger. Hi, new follower. Java With Jambor
